Dear BELS Members,

Would you like to contribute to the success of BELS and be an integral part of shaping its future? Submit a nomination for the BELS Board of Directors!

We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Director At Large (two seats available). Learn more about the position below. Self-nominations are permitted and encouraged.

To qualify for a BELS Board position, the nominee must:

• be a BELS member in good standing;
• commit to attending monthly conference calls with fellow BELS Board members (currently the third Wednesday of the month at 11 am Central Time);
• agree to attend one annual extended (5-6 hours) BELS Board Planning Meeting either in-person or via Zoom (typically the Sunday following AMWA);
• agree to abide by the “Commitment to Serve” guidelines and the BELS Code of Ethics.

Available Offices:

Director At Large – serves a two-year term on the BELS Board of Directors. Additionally, Board members either chair a committee or act as a Board Liaison to a committee. Two seats are currently available.
